Six Black Type races for fillies and mares to take place in 2025 with combined prize money of €350,000

As part of Darley’s continued commitment to racing and breeding in the countries in which it stands stallions, the series of Darley-sponsored Black Type races for fillies and mares has been extended to six contests in 2025. Each race is worth up to €70,000, with a prize money total of €350,000.

They are as follows:

Naas, 10 May – Naas Oaks Trial Stakes (LR), 10f, €55,000

Navan, 7 June – Kooyonga Stakes (LR), 1m, €55,000

Cork, 13 June – Munster Oaks (G3), 12f, €60,000

Fairyhouse, 9 July – Stanerra Stakes (G3), 14f, €70,000

Gowran Park, 13 August – Hurry Harriet Stakes (LR), 9f, €55,000

Curragh, 4 October – Brigid’s Pastures Stakes (LR), 6f, €55,000

 The breeder of the winner of each race will also receive a nomination to Champion two-year-old and Irish 2,000 Guineas winner Native Trail, who first foals are now on the ground and have been the subject of many positive comments from breeders.
